Team Goals:
- Better understand the effect of microgravity and partial gravity on the physiology of musculoskeletal tissues;
- Develop exercise-based and pharmacologic countermeasures to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury through reduction of bone and muscle loss; and
- Investigate pharmacologic countermeasures to mitigate effects of microgravity and/or space radiation on the musculoskeletal system.
