CONGRATULATIONS!
We have just completed our examination of some of the important results of Dr. Holton's space flight investigation. These results, obtained using animal subjects, provide added information that should allow us to develop a better understanding of human bone function in space and on Earth. In addition, this chapter provides another piece of the very large picture that we are developing related to how space flight affects the human body. Let's review our familiar integrated physiology flow chart to see how our understanding of the big picture has evolved (Figure 24).
