NSBRI Summer Internship Program NSBRI has a summer program that provides the opportunity for undergraduate, graduate or medical students to join ongoing projects in laboratories at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, and the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Applicants must have completed their second year of undergraduate studies by the start of the internship. The program is open to U.S. citizens. Interns receive an hourly wage, but the program does not cover housing or travel. To be considered for this program, applicants are asked to fill out the online application and upload a CV or resume and a letter of interest, which includes the dates during the summer that they would be available. Two letters of recommendation should be mailed to the address below. The deadline to apply for the 2009 program was January 31, 2009. To be considered for review, the online application must be submitted by the deadline and the letters of recommendation must be postmarked by the deadline. Faxed or emailed letters of recommendation will not be considered. Applications are reviewed in March, and applicants are informed of the status of their applications as soon as possible.
