NASA Space Grant College and Fellowship Program
Also known as Space Grant, this undergraduate and graduate grant and fellowship
program contributes to the nation's science enterprise by funding research,
education and public service projects through a national network of 52
university-based Space Grant consortia. These institutes administer programs in
all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. More than 12,000 U.S.
citizens have been awarded tuition assistance in science, engineering and related
fields of study. The majority of Space Grant student awards include a mentored
research experience with university faculty or NASA scientists. Competition for
Space Grant awards are announced annually through the university network of each
state's consortium.
