Dorit B. Donoviel, Ph.D. - Senior Scientist
Dr. Donoviel facilitates management of NSBRI’s science and technology portfolio and assists in interfacing the NSBRI research and development program with the NASA Human Research Program (HRP). She supports the NSBRI Industry Forum, developing working relationships with individuals and organizations in aerospace and biomedical/biotechnology industries, government, and healthcare communities, and participates in NASA HRP boards and panels.

Marcelo E. Vazquez, M.D., Ph.D. - Senior Scientist
Dr. Vazquez provides guidance and insight for NSBRI’s research and development efforts in radiation and dosimetry technology. He also supports the utilization of terrestrial-based flight analogs to identify, prevent or reduce risks to crew health, safety and performance.

David A. Watson, Ph.D. - Senior Scientist (Interim Associate Director)
Dr. Watson facilitates integration of NSBRI’s science and technology program with the NASA Human Research Program (HRP). He leads the development of NSBRI funding announcements and represents NSBRI in integration efforts with NASA HRP, participating in Science Management Panel and Human Research Configuration and Control Board activities.

Jonathan B. Clark, M.D. - Space Medicine Advisor
A neurologist and former NASA flight surgeon, Dr. Clark works with NSBRI investigators as Space Medicine Advisor to ensure that research knowledge and new technologies and solutions devised to maintain astronaut health and well-being meet the operational needs of NASA's Space Medicine, Human Health Countermeasures and Exploration Medical Capabilities programs. Dr. Clark supports the NSBRI User Panel, providing insight and guidance in space medicine issues associated with spaceflight operations.

Igor Savelev, Ph.D. - International Liaison
Dr. Savelev, in collaboration with NSBRI leadership and investigators, helps develop and implement high-priority international research and education projects for space exploration. In this capacity, he integrates NSBRI’s international programs across disciplines to complement NASA’s Human Research Program.
