NSBRI/NASA Liaisons
As Health and Science Liaison, Dr. Fiedler is the interface between NSBRI researchers and NASA's Human Research program. She maintains information flow regarding ongoing research, identifies additional research opportunities for investigators and coordinates the definition, implementation and validation of NSBRI research efforts in health and science.
Jonathan B. Clark, M.D. - NSBRI/NASA Space Medicine Liaison
A neurologist and former NASA flight surgeon, Dr. Clark works with NSBRI
investigators as Space Medicine Liaison to ensure that research knowledge
and new technologies and solutions devised to maintain astronaut health
and well-being meet the operational needs of NASA's Space Medicine, Human
Health Countermeasures and Exploration Medical Capabilities programs.
Marcelo E. Vazquez, M.D., Ph.D. - NSBRI/NASA Space Radiation
Liaison
An NSBRI investigator and scientist in the medical department of
Brookhaven National Laboratory, Dr. Vazquez enhances the coordination of
NSBRI's radiation activities in science, technology and education with
NASA's Radiation Health program, including the NASA Space Radiation
Laboratory at Brookhaven.
